Proven Waste Conversion, Recycling, and Energy Producing Technology without incineration or combustion; a Solid Waste Solution
For the Environment

  • Global Warming Prevention Technologies (GWPT) solves municipal garbage issues, and a diversity of other public and private waste problems in an environmentally safe way. Our Natural State Reduction System (published application USPTO) safely decomposes mixed waste at an accelerated pace over a 12 hour period with fuel resources as a by-product. No other technology compares in terms of cost or capabilities.

  • Our proven, and unique process creates an excellent investment opportunity for the groups interested in GWPT company advancement, and/or contract financing for a demonstration facility with a local municipality or a private condominium developer for source waste management solutions.

  • GWPT oxygen starved consumable composting technologies are not to be confused with incineration or combustion. The science involved with combustion or incineration requires oxygen as the chief ignition component. The Natural State Reduction System (NSRS) is the modern day advanced thermal composting technology that deals with man made products and organics, returning them to their natural state of usable gases, inert ash and recyclables.

  • For safety our process analyzes waste for hazardous radioactive or PCB content by using a proprietary surveillance system. Fifty-eight tonne batch process cells then produce filtered waste gas that is converted to heat and local electrical energy, and all recyclables are automatically cleaned and separated. We recycle 100% of all municipal solid waste (MSW), tires, residue waste, medical waste, biomass, construction and automotive waste.

  • Waste handling has recently become a national security problem in the
delivery of undetected hazardous waste to foreign nations, and GWPT is responding proactively to prevent environmental disruption and litigation.

  • GWPT is set to become a global supplier of needed, responsible solid
waste solutions including other alternative and clean energy technologies.

  • The Technology

GWPT invented and owns the Natural State Reduction System (NSRS) process (published and patented in the US and Canada). We are also presently developing a stationary and mobile proven waste gas conversion, recycling and energy producing facility using a hybrid gasifier with a combined recyclables and energy recovery system. The NSRS operates in low thermal temperatures and in an oxygen-starved condition therefore is emphatically not incineration. This environmentally friendly ‘consumable composter’ and recycling solution fits into all terms of reference technically or ‘politically’ within the United States through their Department of Energy and under State Environmental Protection Act, and in Canada meets Ontario’s Ministry of Environment regulatory requirements.

Following the first stage of waste gas conversion, the NSRS sorts and cleans all the remaining glass, aluminum and metals automatically in the waste conversion cell, a feat of material separation never before achieved. This process allows for a continuous feed of un-separated municipal or private source waste and only produces an output of high-grade recyclables automatically sorted, with no mess, odors, noise or smoke.
No other company can make these substantive claims along with the proven scientific and field operation results to back them up.

    The Marketplace
The need to eliminate landfill dumps and incineration has never been more prevalent than today. The issues that impact delivering waste to landfill are the massive collection and transfer costs incurred by poor trucking logistics which are impacted by border closure and security issues, massive diesel truck pollution, and public safety on the roads. Uncontrolled methane emissions that are 21 times the greenhouse gas density of CO2 by volume combined with the liabilities of toxic leachate to vulnerable water tables, ever increasing land costs and other environmental concerns such as noise, dust, and NIMBY problems associated with waste dumps make landfill no longer a viable option. Incineration is equally problematic in terms of cost and emissions so a controlled environment in the handling of both municipal and hazardous waste is imperative.

Toronto and other international cities have the opportunity to show technical prowess, innovation, and fiscal responsibility in the development of their waste strategy. GWPT has the capabilities to meet these challenges while saving the City of Toronto over $100 million annually within their $206 million waste budget. The North American market alone is well over USD 20 Billion annually, and the US Department of Energy has just announced issuing a credit of US 1.8cents per KWH for alternative power producers. This equates to 60% increased energy revenues above the calculations in the business plan. Another beneficial aspect of the NSRS is that the technology supports the Federal limits imposed by the Kyoto Accord reducing potentially 500 Kilotonnes of greenhouse gases in Ontario from dangerous methane off-gassing from landfill, and unnecessary fossil fuel burning waste-transport trucking, and electrical generating plants. A mobile, semi mobile and apartment building service units are now being designed for demonstration as well.

In conclusion our emphasis in developing the NSRS technology is to secure a method for disposal of various waste types: municipal or private, hazardous or non-hazardous, safely and profitably. Our business strengths have grown out of listening to public concerns, and to municipal and private organizations in order to understand their infrastructure problems, and to balance the needs of industry, the environment, and the taxpayer. Positioning GWPT as a global provider of needed solid waste solutions can only result in a bright and growing horizon.
