As a GWPT consortium member Fulton Engineered Specialties Inc. Located in Caledon Ontario is a manufacturer of custom industrial pressure equipment to the ASME Code Section VIII Div. I and Section I.

Since 1975 Fulton has developed expertise in a wide variety of products, materials, and weld processes. Our areas of expertise include: Pressure vessels to 14 ft. diameter Wall thickness to 2 1/2 in., Lengths to 80 ft. Aluminum vessels. Stainless Streel and high nickel alloy construction, Copper vessels, Power boiler shells and components with "S" stamp , Cryogenic liquid storage vessels, Lined and clad vessels Hot water storage tanks with heaters and controls.

Hewcore International - College Tool and Die has been a manufacturer of quality machined components for over 50 years. As a GWPT partner Hewcore specializes in the production and testing of machined parts for a wide variety of industries including mineral exploration, hydraulics and blow molds. Hewcore operates in a company owned 11,500 square foot facility located in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Operations consist of C.N.C. & manual milling and turning, surface cylindrical grinding and variety of special application equipment.

@import url(/gwpt/greenkiteeditorstyle.css); A new biomass to energy technology called the BEAR (Bio-energy Access and Recovery) system has been given the green light for design and development at GWPT in order to fast track the delivery of a commercial biomass waste only system. The new BEAR 1500-50 mini biomass (predominantly woody biomass) utility under early development is being fostered along side the MERC 2000-4000 heterogeneous waste processor which has also been renamed the BEAR 2500-85.... more>>

In fiscal 2014 construction was completed on the mobile steel frame and platform (MFP) that carries the entire system for crane pick-up including operable gates and transport lugs. The gas filtration regime design/build process was begun (originally planned for construction at the CETC)   and all key components were positioned on the base frame bringing together the entire prototype as a whole.

Together with Fulton Engineered Specialties GWPT completes the first stage of the gas filtration modules and heat exchangers on the MERC 4000 stand-alone micro waste converter in Caledon Ontario. Final engine selection and CPU design is slated for June 2014 with CANMET and 3rd party advisors prior to delivery to CANMET in Ottawa for testing this fall.
